For DOT-registered cargo tank test facilities
Six clocks
per tank.
Six tests, six intervals, each one decided by that tank's own attributes. Tank180 keeps them for every tank you service on one list — so "what's due next month?" is a question you answer in a second instead of a folder you have to open.
Email or a phone number, whichever you'd rather. I reply myself.

The shape of the problem
A shop with 600 tanks is holding 3,600 dates.
Every cargo tank carries six independent tests, each on its own interval, and each interval decided by that tank's own attributes. Insulated changes one. Lined and corrosive changes another. Vacuum-loaded with a full-opening rear head changes two.
Most shops do it in a spreadsheet, in a folder per tank, or in someone's head.

Every date explains itself.
Tap any due date and Tank180 shows the rule it applied, the arithmetic, and the CFR citation. When a customer tells you a test isn't due yet, the answer is already on the screen.

The report comes out of the inspection.
Record the test on a tablet in the bay, with signal or without. The 180.417(b) report and the 180.415 marking string are built from what you recorded — and Tank180 tells you if a required entry is missing before anyone signs it.

The vocabulary

Base intervals from Table I in 49 CFR 180.407(c). A tank's own attributes — insulation, lining, lading, spec — can shorten them. Tank180 applies the rule per tank, not per fleet.

See it before you decide anything.
Tank180 is being built with a handful of DOT-registered facilities. If you run one, I'll walk you through it — your kind of tanks, your kind of dates — and you can tell me what it gets wrong. First shops go live this fall.
Priced per site, not per seat. Every inspector in your shop, one number.
